Most of the papers refer to Persico's administrative and teaching duties at the Istituto di Fisica "Guglielmo Marconi" from about 1950 on: library, activity of the "Consiglio dei Professori", lectures, "tesi di laurea", his course on theoretical physics, etc. Other folders relate to other institutions: Societ ̉Italiana di Fisica, Societ ̉Italiana per il Progresso delle Scienze, Universit ̈Laval, INFN, Istituto di Fisica "G. Marconi", Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, SIF, Comitato Nazionale per l'Energia Nucleare (CNEN) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics. There is also some correspondence with physicists and with publishers. A second part of the collection consists of manuscripts, mainly notebooks of calculations, mostly dating from his later years, but some go back to the mid-twenties. Includes correspondence, manuscripts, drawings, pictures, administrative papers, reports and notebooks.
