Archives of the Institute of Physics, 1946-1983.
The collection includes a variety of material related to the activities of the Istituto and its directors, and to the activities of the INFN, including extensive correspondece and scientific papers connected with E. Amaldi, M. Conversi, G. Salvini and including most of the Italian physicists in the second half of this century.
The Archives holds the files deposited since 1946 by the secretarial offices of the Istituto di Fisica (known as the Dipartimento di Fisica since 1983), and of the Rome section of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN).
