One folder of correspondence between John Jenkin and Pierre Auger. The letters discuss the history and of photoelectron spectroscopy, and Dr. Auger's publications and role in the development of that field. Some letters from Auger include attachments of articles by Auger (some written in French), as well as a photocopy of letters to Auger from Arnold Sommerfeld (written in German) and from Niels Bohr, discussing the development of the Auger Effect. The folder also contains some biographical information about Auger, as well as a small photograph of Auger.
