David Inglis was a guest speaker during a class taught by Allan Hoffman, at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Department of Physics and Astronomy. The tape begins with an introduction by Hoffman, followed by the presentation by Inglis. Then the class was shown footage of the aftermath at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, followed by a question and answer session with Inglis. Topics discussed include Inglis's involvement with the Manhattan Project and his thoughts on the use of bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
