This folder contains a brief biography (3 pages) of Kenneth Ford, written by CeCe Brescia upon the occasion of Ford's retirement from the position of Executive Director of the American Instutite of Physics (AIP) in 1992. The biography begins with Ford's experiences with science as a child and continues through his higher education, his work at Los Alamos National Laboratory, his skills as an author, and his reflections on his years with AIP. The file also contains the supporting documentation and research compiled by Brescia for the project, as well as biographical materials on Ken Ford accumulated after his retirement. Documents include press releases, clippings, correspondence written by Ford and his peers, photocopies of photographs, and notes from a brief interview with Ford.
