All the correspondence to Kirkwood is related to the meteor of 1876. Correspondence from Kirkwood consists of letters related to the mathematics department, financial issues, and other personal matters. They date from 1866-1895. Some noted correspondents are Cyrus Nutt and Joseph Swain, who served as Presidents of Indiana University. The Publications series is arranged chronologically.
