Glenn M. Stanley memoirs, 1914-1990.
In this autobiography, covering the years 1922 through 1990, Stanley describes his professional life as physicist and engineer, with much information provided concerning the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska during the time of his enployment there. Also included are accounts of his personal and family life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. There are also autobiographical letters, 1914-1916, from Pomona, California, by S. P. Bentley, Stanley's great-grandfather.
Research scientist and professor at the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska from 1953 through 1976, except for the years 1959-1962 when he was at the Arctic Aeromedical Laboratory and 1966- 1969 when he was at the Stanford Research Institute.
