Photocopies of original reports from 19 June 1952 in Copenhagen at a meeting outlining the plan for the founding of CERN. Authors of Part I of the report are Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg. Also includes photocopy of a newspaper clipping and photocopy of one page from "History of CERN", Vol. 1 on the meeting.
The European Organization for Nuclear Research/Organisation europňne pour la recherche nuclǎire, widely known as CERN, was established in Geneva, Switzerland in 1954 to coordinate and perform research on fundamental particles.
