The All-Union Scientific Council on Radio Physics and Radio Engineering of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR was formed on 29 October 1935 and dissolved on 21 February 1964. Its chairmen were: L. I. Mandel'shtam (1935?-1944); N. D. Papalaeski (1945-1946); B.A. Vvedenskii (1947-1950); A. I. Berg (1951-1964).
