Seminar for science writers on quasars [sound recording], 1965 January 26.
The purpose of the seminar was to provide background information on quasars to science writers and journalists. Welcome and Introductions were made by Ralph Sawyer for the American Institute of Physics, and Philip Morrison chaired the seminar as well as making a presentation. Other speakers included Cyril Hazard, Harlan Smith, H. Chiu, and George Field. Because this is a seminar, voices can be heard throughout the tape not only in specific presentations, but also in discussions.
