Contains correspondence regarding the publication of his photos and presentations at professional meetings, copies of his publications, and photographs of Atmospheric Sciences Research Center activities and National Science Institutes.
Cheng was a research associate at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center from 1966 to 1999. He was a specialist in the use of the electron microscope to photograph atmospheric particulates. Cheng was actively involved with Vincent Schaefer in the National Science Institutes of the 1960s and 1970s, which sought to give high school students field scientific research experience.
