He recalls memories of "Uncle Albert" while growing up in Germany; how Einstein helped his family leave Germany during the rise of the Nazis; visits with Einstein at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Princeton; Einstein's role in and opinions on the Manhattan Project and the use of the atomic bomb; his relationship with Max Planck; his likes and dislikes; and other anecdotes.
