Records consist of six folders titled: Constitution and list of officers, 1945-1968 (n.d.); Mailing Lists (1964-1965); Member survey (1965); Programs (1964-1968); Correspondence (1963-1968); Cleveland Technical Societies Council (1963-1967). Primary correspondents include Glen Wagoner (president 1964-65); B.S. Chandrasekhar (president 1965-66); James W. Blue (president 1966-67); and David G. Proctor (secretary 1965-67, president 1967-68).
Founded in 1945 for the advancement and dissemination of the knowledge of physics. Meetings held monthly; later reduced to quarterly. In 1968 the group disbanded, recommending that the membership join the Ohio Section of the American Physical Society.
