The "Observatoires" file (on the reform of French astronomy) and the "Rapports sur titres et travaux" file (containing biographical notes on Dauvillier, Alfred Fowler, Bertil Lindblad, and Harold Spencer Jones) are among the more detailed and revealing in this collection. Other topics include spectroscopy of planets, Meudon Observatory, Pic-du-Midi Observatory (including photographs of it during construction), and solar research.
