Hansen, these records document Honeywell's efforts to overturn the'1964 patent. Collection includes the history and background of the ENIAC; corresondence between Honeywell, Inc. and John V. Atanasoff; motions, affidavits, subpoenas, memoranda, briefs, and trial transcripts of several related legal cases; publications concerning the trials and other computer topics; and photographs and slides of the ENIAC, the ABC Computer, and witnesses.
Henry L. Hansen received his B.S. (1943) in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State College (now University) and a law degree (1951) from Willis Mitchell Law School in Minneapolis, Minn. Hansen was the Corporate Patent Council for Honeywell, Inc. during the ENIAC trial.
