Films of an evening series of talks by Hans Bethe, P.A.M. Dirac, Werner Heisenberg, Oskar Klein, and Eugene Wigner, in which they describe their own lives in physics; also a talk where Eugene M. Lifshitz commemorates the life of Lev Landau. The talks were given in June 1968 at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, as part of The Symposium on Contemporary Physics. The unedited film footage includes the introductory remarks of Abdus Salam, Director of the Trieste Center.
