Collection consists of the chronological file of Samuel H. Caldwell, Chief of Section 7.2 of Division 7 (Fire Control) of the National Defense Research Committee, a branch of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, from June 1941 through December 1944. The entire OSRD collection is housed in the National Archives.
