Includes items from various collections: 1) two letters from Faraday to Sir Walter Calverley Trevelyan (Trevelyan Papers: WCT127); 2) photographic copies of one letter each from Michael and Sarah Faraday to their nephew Andrew Reid, 1840: Ms. Misc 48; 3) holograph draft (dated 16th January 1855) signed by Michael Faraday expressing his wishes regarding the disposal of his personal effects after his death (Ms Album 38).
