Includes two audio tapes of interview with Dr. Gabor, one in Hungarian, 1971 and 1973; audio tape and program for George Washington Award Dinner in Gabor's honor, 1973; three photographs of Gabor; award certificate for his Nobel Prize in Physics; photocopies of his patents pertaining to holography filed with the U.S. Patent Office, 1962-1971; and his patent, in German, filed with the German government, 1966. Physicist. Hungarian born, Dennis Gabor (1900-1979) invented the holographic technique in 1947, won Nobel Prize for Physics in 1971, and was honorary chairman of the Board of the Museum of Holography.
