Observatories Branch records, 1903-1974.
Consists of records from the Office of the Dominion Astronomer; the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Victoria, BC; the Seismology and Geomagnetism Divisions; central registry files and the proposed construction of the Queen Elizabeth II telescope. The series also consists of technical drawings of equipment and the Dominion Observatory and a plan of the observatory grounds.
Observatories Branch; changed name from Dominion Observatories in 1964.
