Papers of a special interest group founded in Austin, Texas in 1968 to foster communications in the radiation research field. Disbanded in 1985. Contains rules, treasury information, and correspondence. Also contains two bound copies of the history of Texas Association for Radiation Research (TARR), 1968-1985.
Founded by a group of persons wanting to foster communications among themselves, students, persons interested in radiation and its effects - chemical, biological, physical, medical, and industrial. The first meeting was on November 22 and 23, 1968, at the University of Texas, Austin.
