Correspondence (1893-1960), journal kept on the solar eclipse expedition to Sumatra and the return through Europe (1926), MS. and annotated printed copies of two books, Man's place in a superphysical world (1954), and From the life of a researcher (1951), biographical material, memorabilia, financial records (1884-1905), scientific notebooks concerning stellar and planetary radiation (1914-1926) and psychic phenomena (1910-1915), photos, and printed copies of Coblentz's works, frequently annotated (1903-1953). Bulk of the material relates to Coblentz's pioneer work in the fields of infrared spectroscopy, and to the application of radiometry to astronomical problems.
