Correspondence (150 letters dealing with professional and technical subjects in communication and engineering); materials concerning telephone patents of E. H. Johnson, 1881, and S. Bergman, 1885; applications for patent rights and sketches and diagrams of telephone components. The collection also includes a bibliography of Dolbear's writings and manuscripts in the collection of his son Benjamin L. Dolbear; and miscellaneous items including sketches, sales receipts and photographs.
