Papers ("Old" Sommerfeld Nachlass).
Considerable material is held, including letters to Sommerfeld from over 400 correspondents, for example, Wilhelm Wien, Robert W. Pohl, and copies of Sommerfeld's own letters. Also included in the collection are other personal papers, printed material with handwritten annotation, and photographs.

On the mineralogy faculty at Georg-August Universitt̃ zu Gt̲tingen (1893-1897); on the mathematics faculty at Technische Universitt̃ Clausthal (1897-1900); on the mechanics faculty at the Technische Hochschule zu Aachen (1900-1906); and on the physics faculty at Universitt̃ M nchen from 1906.
