Dushman, Saul, 1883-
Saul Dushman papers, 1924-1954.
Includes correspondence, lectures, research notes and technical data, reprints and reviews relating to quantum mechanics, electromotive force, atomic structure, electron emission, unimolecular force, high vacuum, and other research topics, and to Dushman's work as assistant director for General Electric Company Research Laboratory, Schenectady, NY.
Dushman (1883-1954) was born in Russia and emigrated to the United States in 1891. In 1912, Dushman joined the Research Laboratory of General Electric Company (GE) where he spent the rest of his career with only one interruption; from 1922-1925, he served as director of the Research Division of the Edison Lamp Works.
