The Auger fonds contain a large variety of biographical documents, material related to his scientific research, and material related to his administrative roles in various organizations and institutions, including higher educational institutions, UNESCO, CERN, the United Nations Interational Computing Centre, the Centre National d'Etudes spatiales, and the European Space Research Organisation. In addition, the fonds contain material connected to his external activities such as conferences and colloquia in which he participated and his interests in poetry, art, and making his scientific work accessible to a larger audience, such as the monthly television program "Lectures pour Tous" and other programs produced by Radiodiffusion-Tľv̌ision Franȧise. There is also an extensive collection of more general than scientific correspondence. Other forms of material include reports, typescripts, articles, lectures, and television scripts.
