John Von Neumann collection, 1913-1925, 1942-1956, 1989-1992.
This collection consists of photographs and photographic reproductions, creative works (article, book and speech), genealogy materials, and audio material (cassette tape). These materials consist of mostly family or genealogy materials, dedications, and ceremonial addresses. In addition, four Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) reprints from the 1940s were transferred to this collection from the Robert E. Greenwood Papers.
Hungarian-American mathematician. Ph.D., University of Budapest (1926). Professional experience includes: visiting professor, Princeton University (1930-1953); research professor of mathematics, Institute for Advanced Study (1933-1957).
