The second interview focuses on Arnold's and Devendra's studies of meteorites and the two scientists early days together in Arnold's laboratory at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

Devandra Lal, Indian physicist. Ph.D. physics, University of Bombay (1958). Professional experience includes: professor of nuclear physics, director, senior professor, Scripps Institution of Ocranography (1967-); fellow, Physical Research Laboratory (1989-).
